Simone brings to the Lampton Board and Audit and Risk Committee more than 30 years’ experience in local government and housing association sectors, where she has operated at Strategic Director level for more than half her career.
A qualified housing professional, Simone is also an independent advisor to senior leadership teams and boards in councils and housing associations, acting as a critical friend on service improvement programmes, identifying and controlling risks, and meeting legal requirements.
Simone is an experienced non-Executive Director, bringing commercial acumen and strategic thinking to steer organisations in the right direction. She has led many partnerships across the public sector for housing, communities and equalities projects. Simone is highly skilled in bringing partners together to deliver outcomes.
Simone is a transformation specialist, having led organisational-wide change programmes, including the full re-integration of an arms-length management organisation back into a local authority, establishing a wholly-owned local authority development company and delivering large-scale service re-structures. Simone has turned around non-compliant organisations to meet regulatory standards in repairs and maintenance, housing management and resident engagement. She has also developed efficiency programmes to help organisations deliver value for money and brings a creative approach to planning and delivering services.
